ABOUT US
Meet Our Pastor
Laura Holcomb serves as a Certified Lay Minister at Bonita Methodist Church within the Trinity Conference of the Global Methodist Church (GMC). Deepening her theological education, she entered the Global Methodist Course of Study program at Asbury Theological Seminary in January 2026. Laura has an extensive history of leadership in the denomination, having served for three years on the Trinity Conference Connectional Council as the laity representative for the Pineywoods area and as the Sponsorship Coordinator for the Annual Conference Planning Team.
Outside of ministry, Laura cherishes time with her family. She and her husband, Joseph, have been married for over 35 years and reside in Crockett. They have two adult children: their daughter, Ann, lives in Nacogdoches with her husband, Michael, and their son, Will, lives in Grapeland with his wife, Graycie, and their children, Seis and Lilly.

WORSHIP PASSIONATELY

LOVE EXTRAVAGANTLY
Jesus said the greatest commandment it so love God and love each other how He first loved us (Matthew 22:36-40). With the heart of Christ living in us, we openly love our God and all of God’s people.
The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.

BOLDLY
Our witness is bold and fearless. We had the greatest message ever told, a history of God showing His love to us. With it the greatest gift ever given. This message is not for the few, but for all.
You will be his witness to all people of what you have seen and heard.

The Global Methodist Church is divided into 5 worldwide conferences. Bonita Methodist Church is a member of the TRINITY CONFERENCE which includes East Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
